The INSDSeq is the official supported XML format of the International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration (INSDC). The current production version of the XML is INSDSeq v1.4. No major changes to the INSDSeq v1.4 are planned in 2006. However, the INSDC reserves the right to make improvements to the format where deficiencies are found.
